Hello, Rock Heads, love is in the air! With Valentine’s Day this weekend, We figured we’d feature some of the Best Golf Vacations For Couples. Partially for the fun of course, but hey maybe you need to book that last-minute getaway because you completely forgot. And outside of avoiding the doghouse, we’re here to provide some vacation plans for the future. So without further ado here are some of the Best Golf Vacations For Couples.

Kauai

Each island has scores of worthy resorts aimed at Honeymooners or simply those who crave respite from the trials of the busy mainland. It doesn’t get much more romantic than Kauai’s North Shore. While there are several courses to choose from we’ll highlight The Ocean Course at Hokuala. Along with this amazing course, Kuai also offers some amazing sites, restaurants, and activities.

Sedona

For the more adventurous couple! Moments of grandeur and wonderment replay on a daily loop for guests at Enchantment Resort, a luxurious vacation getaway two hours from Phoenix in the cooler elevations of northern Arizona. The red rocks of Sedona and the beauty of the Coconino National Forest provide eye candy.

The Sedona Golf Resort offers several packages for you to stay & play. And if that isn’t good enough Sedona itself offers a lot in the way of exploration, hiking, and sightseeing.

Napa and Silverado Resort

This should come as no surprise. Napa Valley is probably one of the most popular destinations for couples. You don’t need Johnny Miller’s swing to enjoy the golf at Silverado, the 36-hole resort where he is part owner. Silverado hosts the Safeway Open every fall, but it’s player-friendly for all skills. Winos and foodies will love everything about the region … wine tastings all afternoon followed by a decadent meal. The French Laundry by Thomas Keller is a must-visit

Fairmont Chateau Whistler

This west-coast trip is for those couples out there who love their polos as much as their Lycra. Also, enjoy beautiful scenery at courses like Fairmont Chateau Whistler and then take on hiking, mountain biking, gondola rides and Skiing. Whistler has incredible natural beauty and golf is just one way of immersing yourself in it.

Mayakoba

You’ve seen the golf course, El Camaleon, on TV for the PGA Tour event, but it’s the four resort properties that are truly remarkable. Each were built delicately within a mangrove forest and around rivers. Guests can ride bikes or be shuttled between spas, dining concepts and ultimately out to the coast, where some of the area’s finest beaches await. Rosewood and Fairmont anchor the premium brands, while the more playful Andaz brand delivers colorful value. Each offers an experience among the most unique resort stays in the Caribbean.
