Hey, Rock Heads, another week, another stop on the tour! Today we’re taking a look at the The Memorial Tournament! Jul 16 – 19 – Purse: $9,300,000 with defending champion Patrick Cantlay. And Guess what/ TIGER WOODS IS OFFICIALLY BACK! I know we’re just as excited as you are! So who do you have winning this one? Our Money’s always on Tiger (But really on Bryson DeChambeau).
The Memorial Tournament: The Course
Muirfield Village is an upscale golf-oriented community in the central United States, located in Dublin, Ohio, a suburb north of Columbus. And will also be the host of this week’s Memorial Golf Tournament. The Jack Nicklaus designed course challenges the serious golfer and offers a pleasant golf experience to the casual player. The Country Club at Muirfield Village offers a wide range of golf activities.
So what’s different about the course from last week’s charity workday event? The three variables that are tweaked will be pin positions, green speeds and the length of the bluegrass rough. The Memorial usually features rough that is four-plus inches and green speeds exceeding 13 on the Stimpmeter.
