Predictions

Winner

Justin Thomas (5/1) –

Another week and another JT pick. Thomas is playing great right now, and last year, he is one of the best players on the PGA Tour right now. It is hard to pick against him and so we won’t do it, he is the odds on favorite to win and we jump on that bandwagon.

Wildcard

Brooks Koepka (12/1) –

Not the best finish in last weeks WGC-Mexico event but Koepka is a great player and he will find the winners circle. At the beginning of the year we picked Koepka to win 2 majors, this is not a major but we think he could have a good chance to find a #1 finish.

Wildcard

Gary Woodland (18/1) –

This was a tough pick, we weighed Woodland vs Sergio Garcia, ultimately the calmer head prevailed. Woodland made the switch to Wilson Golf this year and the results have been great –

  • T5 – 2 – T10 – T41 – T8 – T3 – 2 – 80 – T9 – T7 – T17

This week Woodland has a great chance to finish #1

BOLD Prediction

Trey Mullinax (80/1) –

This is a BOLD prediction that could be really safe or it could go really wrong. Mullinax is currently ranked #218 in the Official World Golf Rankings but he comes into the Honda Classic with fairly good odds. The season got off to a rough, really really really rough, start for Mullinax but in the recent weeks, he has turned it around.

  • CUT – CUT – CUT – T65 – T57 – T34 – T25 – T15 – T22

We are hoping that Mullinax has found his stride and will have a great finish this week.

What do YOU think? Are we hitting a slice, baby fade or an ACE?
