Who Are You Watching At The Masters?

Jack Nicklaus and Arnold Palmer started the 75th Masters this morning with opening drives. Together the pair have taken home 10 green jackets. Nicklaus’ flew 60 yards further than his co honoree’s, causing a roar of cheers from the thousands standing in the gallery. And when asked what he was going to stay and watch for the rest of the tournament, he replied with:

”I’m not going to sit around and watch a golf tournament,” he said. ”I’ll come in and watch in the evening. But it’s not like there’s going to be business happening this week. Anyone in the game of golf is here. I can go sit in an office and wait for no phone calls, or go fishing. And that’s what I’m going to do.”

While Nicklaus may be going fishing, I guarantee you that this caveman will be watching. I came across a great article on 10 players to keep an eye out for. Here is there list of top 10:

Phil Mickelson
Tiger Woods
Bubba Watson
Nick Watney
Lee Westwood
Luke Donald
David Toms
Jason Bohn
Jeff Overton
Padraig Harrington

The article compared and contrasted why they will be contenders, as well as why they won’t be. But it left out a few names that I will personally be looking for like: Martin Kaymer, Rory McIlroy, Steve Stricker, Justin Rose, Louis Oosthuizen and Graeme McDowell.

Who are you going to be watching?
