Think You Could Beat This Record-Setting “Radical Golfer”?

Wow! I got some great responses from my Rock Heads about which golfin’ world record they would want to hold, but that got me thinking about who holds the most golfin’ world records.

The Answer: Heinrich du Preez

He holds 9 Guinness world records:

Longest hole played in 12 hours: 47 miles using 785 shots and losing only 28 balls!

Golfin’ on 6 continents in 5 days: Every one but Antarctica

Fastest Round of Golf: 26 minutes and 37 seconds for 18 holes!

Most golf balls hit in 12 hours: 9,437

Most golf balls hit in 24 hours: 15,011

Most holes in 7 days: 1809! That’s 100.5 rounds of golf in a week!

Whew! A few of those look exhausting! Not too shabby for a 36 year old! Check out his radio show Radical Golf to see more records he has broken and see what he is attempting next.

Think YOU could beat some of these records? Any other ideas for records that you would want to hold?

Bonus: What his hands looked like after 24 hours on the drivin’ range! And that’s through the gloves!

Okay, according to the one picture, he wears his glove on his left hand, and that blistered mess he is holding up at the bottom of the page is a right hand. No big deal, but obviously doesn’t warrant the comment.

Good Observation Stu, I guess that wasn’t through the gloves, but still would be pretty rugged anyway!
