This week we Tee It Up-Zurich Classic Preview. The event is held in Avondale at TPC Lousiana and is a team event. The event dates back to 1938 and has been held annually since 1958. In 2017 the Zurich Classic switched to a team event, one member is initially chosen via the Tour priority rankings and the other is a PGA Tour members or must have a sponsor exemption. The event has gone by many names and sponsors since its inception –

TPC Louisiana

TPC Louisiana is located in Avondale, Louisiana, a suburb of New Orleans. The course was designed by Pete Dye in 2004 with a player consultation from Steve Elkington and Kelly Gibson. The course has been apart of the PGA Tour’s Tournament Players Club since 2006.
