This week we on Tee It Up Preview-WGC Dell Match Play. The PGA Tour again has 2 events this week! We love it, more golf is never a bad thing. We took a stab at making a bracket in our On The Range post this week, let’s hope that we are busted after round 1.

WGC-Dell Technologies Match Play

The WGC-Dell Technologies Match Play is a match play event on the PGA Tour. The event was typically held in February but with the new schedule change, it takes place during the last week of March. Over the years the event has been sponsored by Accenture, Cadillac, and Dell. The field is based on the top 64 players in the Official World Golf Rankings. In 2015 the format started using pool play, 16 groups of 4 players playing round robin matches Wednesday thru Friday. The winners of each group move onto a single elimination bracket for the weekend.
