Your New Workout Music Source

Let me start this post with a disclaimer: I was not asked to write this recommendation nor will I see any compensation in exchange.

I don’t know how I’ve missed Run Hundred, the web’s most popular workout music blog, until now, but I think it’s going to really improve my workouts.

The idea behind Run Hundred is simple:

Users submit their favorite workout songs on vote on the submissions others.

The votes are tallied and once a month you’ll receive a copy of the month’s top 10 in your inbox.

You can also find more workout songs at any time. The free database can be sorted by genre, source, era, and tempo or beats per minute. That way you can make your own mix to best fit your workout.

Run Hundred Example

Best of all, it’s totally free. It doesn’t sell music downloads, but it does offer links to Amazon and iTunes if you decide that you must have a particular song.

Check out Run Hundred and tell me what you think in the comments. Do you use Run Hundred or Spotify? Or do you prefer no music while you exercise?
