Who Will Conquer the Players Championship?

So by now you should all know that Tiger is in serious jeopardy of losing his #1 spot to Phil Mickelson. In order for Phil to dethrone him, he has to earn about 45 more points than Tiger. A 1st place finish for Mickelson and any placing outside of the top 5 for Tiger would set the numbers flying.

What if Phil doesn’t win? If Phil comes in 2nd, Tiger would have to place outside of the top 10. If Tiger fails to make the cut like he did at Quail hollow, Phil could take the title with a 4th or better placing.

5 out of the last 8 Players Championship have been won by International players, and with Rory McIlroy performance at last weeks Quail Hollow, this caveman thinks the up and coming Irishman has a good shot.

Nothing against Tiger Woods, but I would certainly like to see Rory take 1st, Phil take 2nd, and Tiger finish outside of the top 10. The world of golf needs an uprising, and that combination would produce some of the best headlines we have seen in a while.

What do you think Rockheads?

Bonus: Tiger’s finishes in the last 5 at TPC Sawgrass.

Tiger barely made the cut then he withdraws on the 7th hole of the last day of the TPC. Goes to show when he isn’t in contention to place in the top 10 at the final day the cheater drops out like the spoiled boy he really is. Sad when he shows his true colors.

It will be better for golf when he just gets up and quits all together. The PGA has put all their eggs in one basket and so has golf in general. I’m sick and tired looking at a leader board and especially when ESPN shows all the leaders up by 10 to 15 strokes on Tiger on the last day then they highlight all of Tigers bad shots and show where he’s at on the board when the guy isn’t even close to contending. It’s all about catering to golfs number one which by the way was just taken down in the ranking after this TPC tourney.

Boo hoo Woods. Go tend to your bulging neck strain…lol
