Would You Want To Be Buried On A Golf Course?

I have written about Haunted Golf Courses, but it would appear that I missed one, which is good and fitting for this Halloween blog!

The Sanctuary Golf Course in New Lenox has gotten the reputation of being haunted after the discovery of Native American bodies and artifacts were unearthed a few years ago. Since then, reports of tom-ton drum playing, fires burning in the tree lines and ghosts canoeing along the water hazards.

Never in this caveman’s wildest dreams had I imagined that I would be writing about a golf course that will most definitely be haunted in the future. But, I have gotten the chance!

Sunset Hills Memorial Park in Bellevue, Washington is planning on burying deceased golfers under a the golf course. So if you are one of those die hard golfers, who feels like literally dying to play golf, this might be the best thing for you.

Ok, so the golf course might not really be a full course. And by that I mean its just one hole, but this hole includes the tee box, fairway, bunker and putting green. If you include the full casket plots and cremation placements, which I do, 1,281 golfers can be buried on this “fairway to heaven.”

That makes up 320 foursomes. The afterlife tee time slots are going to be ridiculous. This hole will be a constantly bed of spectral activity, with plasma-tic golf balls persistently flying all night long.

Oh and P.S…

Happy Halloween!
