Here’s What’s Happened:
1. Jordan Spieth puts the icing on his cake with win at the PGA Tour Championship. What a season Spieth has had! With five wins this season, including The Masters and the US Open, Spieth recaptures the top spot in the world rankings back from Jason Day. To top it off, Spieth set a US PGA Tour record for earnings this year with a total of over $12 million. Spieth finished at 9-under at the Tour Championship and with it, clinched the FedEx Cup along with the $10 million bonus that comes with it.

2. Thongchai Jaidee wins European Open. The Thai golfer shot a 67 to win the tournament by just one shot on Sunday. His bogey-free final round included 4 birdies. He shot a 68, 68, and 64 in early rounds to become the overnight leader into Sunday. Graeme Storm of England finished in second place.
3. Sangmoon Bae heads off to active duty after playing the PGA Tour Championship. The South Korean golfer heads back home to serve 21 months of mandatory service for his country. The PGA Tour Championship was his final US event for a while. Bae has won on the tour twice and finished tied for 18th on Sunday. He will participate in The Presidents Cup in several weeks and said he will be patiently waiting to get back to The Tour once his service is complete.
