Alvaro Quiros’ Amazing 40-Foot Eagle Putt To Win The Dubai World Championship!

Sunday at the Dubai World Championship, Spanish player Alvaro Quiros managed to sink an incredible 40-foot eagle putt on the 18th hole to secure a two-shot victory over Paul Lawrie. Quiros finished the day on the Earth Course at Jumeirah Golf Estates with a 19-under total of 269. Though he came into the final with a two-shot lead, Quiros squandered the advantage after hitting three bogeys on the front nine along with five birdies. Nevertheless, Quiros still managed to reach the 18th green in two with his competition, Lawrie, there in three. After the tremendous 40-foot eagle putt, the sensational Spaniard pumped his fist to a clapping crowd. This win was just Quiros’ second on the tour this year and sixth overall in his history on the tour.
