Winner

UPDATE – Well another week and another Top 10 finish for Rahm. We missed out on getting the W with this pick but Rahm finish T10 (-10)

Jon Rahm (+700) – Back to back, this is week 2 that we are calling for Rahm to win. So far in 2019 Rahm has a hot hand, T5 (Farmers Insurance Open), 6 Desert Classic, T8 Sentry Tournament of Champions. We are big believers that Rahm finally pushes past a Top 10 finish and wins the event outright.

Wildcard

UPDATE – A top 15 finish is nothing to laugh at Although Matsuyama didn’t grab his 3rd win at the Waste Management Phoenix Open he had a solid finish, T15 (-9).

Hideki Matsuyama (+1100) – DO NOT count out Matsuyama, he won the event in back to back years 2016 and 2017. After a strong finish last week T3 we think he can ride the momentum and compete for the trophy at the Waste Management Phoenix Open.

Wildcard

UPDATE – Woodland had another great showing at the Waste Management Phoenix Open. While he did not capture the trophy he did finish T7 (-11).

Gary Woodland (+2300) – We had plenty of golfers to choose from, Justin Thomas, Tony Finau, Phil Mickelson, Webb Simpson but we are going with Woodland. Last year Woodland won this event, this year he has gone T2 Sentry Tournament of Champions, T2 CJ Cup at Nine Bridges and T5 CIMB. Woodland made a switch to Wilson Golf this year and many thought that could affect his season, so far so good. We think he continues his solid play thus far, come Sunday he will be in contention.

BOLD Prediction

UPDATE- Well another bold prediction made the cut but didn’t finish in the top group. Stuard finished T55 (-2).

Brian Stuard (+2000) – Unless you follow the PGA Tour closely you may be scratching your head and saying who? Stuard currently has 1 win on his resume, the 2016 Zurich Classic of New Orleans. In 5 trips playing at TPC Scottsdale, Stuard is yet to miss a cut. Thus far in 2019, he has finished T8 (Sony Open in Hawaii), T39 (CIMB Classic) and T40 (Desert Classic)
