Tiger Woods' Top 5 Best Shots
It’s been a long road back for Tiger Woods. The modern golf poster boy returned to No. 1 on Monday by winning the Arnold Palmer Invitational, but remember where he was last year. He hadn’t won a PGA Tour event in 2 1/2. He missed a large part of 2011 due to injury. He even walked off the course at Doral last year because of a recurrence of injury. June was the first time he said he felt well enough to go to the range after a round. And this was all after his divorce fiasco.
This year, Tiger’s turned it all around. He may not be playing as well as he did ten years ago, but consider that he’s won three out of five starts since January. Being back at No. 1 and in a new relationship has to feel pretty good after being stuck in the doldrums for so long. First Hole-In-One
Tiger burst really burst onto the scene in 1996 with this hole-in-one at one of his first pro events, the U.S. Bank Invitational.
2008 Bay Hill Invitational
After being 0-for-21 on putts outside of 20 feet, Tiger came back with this 24-footer for the win.
2008 U.S. Open – 18th Hole
This shot forced a playoff, but what’s really impressive is that Tiger did it with a stress fracture in his leg and a torn ACL.
