This week we Tee It Up-AT&T Byron Nelson. The PGA Tour heads to Dallas, Texas for the AT&T Byron Nelson at Trinity Forest Golf Club. The event is the leading fundraiser for charity on the PGA Tour, it has raised more than $143 million. It is only one of two events named after former professional golfers. It is hosted by the Salesmanship Club of Dallas, a 600-member civic organization, and has benefited the Club’s nonprofit Momentous Institute since its inception. In 2018, the tournament moved to the new Trinity Forest Golf Club.
Trinity Forest Golf Club
Trinity Forest Golf Club is an 18-hole private club in Dallas, Texas. The course was opened for play in 2016, Bill Coore and Ben Crenshaw were the designers. The site is a former landfill and is a treeless links-style design. Trinity Forest became the host course for the AT&T Byron Nelson in 2018. It is also the home of the SMU Mustangs men’s and women’s college golf teams.
