Seems like most golfers I know have one or two companies that they are loyal to above the rest. And I’d bet most of us know a few folks that could easily be named “Customer of the Year” with one particular brand. You know the type: complete set of Titleist clubs, for example, that they keep in a bag by the same company, usually topped off with a hat featuring the logo and a “I’d Rather Be Driving A Titleist” bumper sticker.
If that describes you, I’d love to know how long you’ve been Company X’s biggest fan and how you got that way. Maybe a golfin’ buddy loaned you a putter that suddenly couldn’t miss, or their golf balls are the only ones you never seem to lose? Could be something as simple as geography, which might explain why I always sell out of Cleveland Golf Gear at the golf show in Cleveland, Ohio! PS: As for me, when you’re a closeout Caveman your only real alligence can be with who has the best deals for me today, and what clubs keep my ball movin’ towards the green!
