How Do You Feel About the Ryder Cup Teams?

Just 3 weeks to go before the 2010 Ryder Cup and the teams have officially been chosen:

Captains on Both Sides of the Pond raised some eyebrows with their wild card Selections.

Over in Europe the question is being asked, Why didn’t Colin Montgomerie choose Justin Rose or Paul Casey. Justin Rose has been having the best season of his career so far. The other question is why Padraig Harrington? Lately he has been slipping, falling back into World’s #18, and hasn’t won a single tourney in over 2 years. His last 9 Ryder cup matches also are lacking, leaving him 0-7-2.

State-side, Corey Pavin has received criticism for both Tiger Woods and Rickie Fowler. But in this caveman’s opinion, just because Tiger hasn’t won doesn’t mean he has been playing poorly and he seems to be picking up speed as the season winds down. Rickie has a proven track record with Match play (at the walker cup he went 7-1) but he was only picked to have a “Showdown” with Rory McIlroy.
