Scratch’s Rock Bottom Price Guarantee!
I know, I find it hard to believe too! But every once in a great while someone can find a price LOWER than Rock Bottom Golf’s. But I wouldn’t be living up to my name if I didn’t have the LOWEST price out there! So here’s what I’m going to do. If you find a price lower than mine, send me an email at Scratch@RockBottomGolf.com with the item, the price and a link to it on the web. The Cave Crew will check it out and if everything is accurate, I’m going to give you it at the lower price PLUS give you an additional 15% of the difference off the price! Here’s an example of some Cave Math:
Let’s say you see an item out there for $89.99 while my price is at $99.99. In other words, $10 beneath what I have mine priced at. I’ll take $10 off AND get you an additional $1.50 off ($10 X 15%). That’s a Caveman Promise!
Now for some legal mumbo jumbo from the law speakin’ guys:
- Items must be the exact same model and condition.
- Items found out on auction sites do not apply.
- Item price must be current and approved by the Cave Crew prior to purchase to receive discount. Past prices do not apply. In technical terms, “No Backsies”!
- The seller of the discounted item must have an authorized account with the manufacturer.
See, that wasn’t so bad now was it?

Dear Scratch – Like your site until your latest 15% deal. Looks like you have turned into a bait & switch type operation. Before your 15% off ad hit, you had an iron set listed at $249.95, now with your 15% deal you list the same set as $269.95. It looks like you are gouging your customers $20.00
Not what I would expect from someone pleding lowest pricing.

Hey there! Thanks for checkin’ in. Here’s a quick breakdown of how this Caveman keep his pricing as low as possible and takes the pressure off your pocket book. First, I set my normal price, which is almost always the lowest on the block to begin with! Sometimes I’ll go even lower than this normal price when I’m featuring an item on my home page, in one of my newsletters, heck, maybe I just have too many and need to clear some room in The Cave! I call these my super cave specials. Specials could last a day, a week, a month, who knows! I like to play stuff by ear. But once a HUGE sale like my 15% off hits, all specials disappear because my 15% off pricing is EVEN BETTER! So yes, it could look like I’m raising my prices to the untrained Caveman, but in the long run you’re still saving EVEN MORE! And while I’d love to give you 15% off my special pricing, I’d love even more not to have a 2nd mortgage! Thanks and I do apologize for any confusion.

E-Mail advertising 15% off plus (free shipping) misleading, went to your site and ordered a club, but when checking out $9.99 was added to bill, then after readind the fine print it say’s on order’s of $200. or more to get discount. I’ve ordered from you before and your add’s are normally clear. But this one was misleading.
