If Augusta wants to establish itself as a male-gendered space, it's within their right as a private club and their decision of whether or not to admit Rometty amongst their ranks will certainly be a watershed moment for the gender politics of this club. Usually it is exclusion itself. So if Augusta wants to remain "exclusive" then they simply must weigh the costs.
