Coverage Notes

Radio

For these four days, XM Channel 93/Sirius 208 will carry ESPN coverage during the times above. These special programs will also be broadcast:

– A two-hour U.S. Open Preview will hosted by Ben Crenshaw and Ed Clements on Wednesday starting at 1 p.m. Matt Adams and former PGA TOUR pro John Maginnes host their own preview show which will be broadcast Tuesday at 1 p.m. , Wednesday at 11 a.m., and Saturday and Sunday from 12-2 p.m. before leading into tournament coverage. A U.S. Open Replay show will air each evening after live play stops and will be hosted by Taylor Zarzour and Brian Katrek.

If you do not have Sirius/XM radio, ESPN radio can be heard online at ESPNRadio.com or via the ESPN Radio app.

ESPN

After 33 years, this Friday will be ESPN’s last time covering the U.S. Open. After play concludes at 7 p.m., there will be an edited encore presentation at 8p.m. SportsCenter at the U.S. Open will air hour-long broadcasts Tuesday and Wednesday at 2 p.m. ET on ESPN, and Thursday and Friday at 7 p.m. ET on ESPN News.

If you are stuck at work, ESPN can be found via the WatchESPN app and online by searching WatchESPN. You will need a cable subscription though to access it.

NBC

This is also NBC’s final broadcast from the U.S. Open. Expect a special send-off at the end of Sunday and a few tears.

Golf Channel

Golf Channel will of course be devoting LOTS of coverage to U.S. Open. Morning Drive will air starting at 6 a.m. Thursday through Sunday. Live From the U.S. Open will air throughout the week before and after tournament play with analysis and player news conferences.
