Congrats to Justin Rose for winning this year’s U.S. Open! While everyone else choked(looking at you Lefty), Rose hung on to win his first major.

This U.S. Open provided us with lots of great T.V. time. Here’s Scratch’s favorite moments from the U.S. Open at Merion!

Shawn Stefani’s hole-in-one on 17 was the first ever at a U.S. Open at Merion and the 43rd in U.S. Open history.

Phil Mickleson had a great first two days at Merion, but couldn’t hang on to his lead. He did have this great eagle from the rough at 10.

Justin Rose dedicated his win to his late father. Scratch here is a big old softie.

Scratch is not a fan on spectators shouting at players, but I had to include this. As Justin Rose swings, someone shouts “King in the North”; a Game of Thrones reference for those who don’t know. And hey, it’s better than “get in the hole.”
