CARLSBAD, Calf. (April 16, 2013) — adidas Golf, an industry leader in innovative, technologically-advanced high-performance footwear, has announced the release of the new adicross tour footwear line. Engineered with revolutionary materials and state-of-the-art construction methods, adicross tour was designed to allow for stability with flexibility, freedom of movement without sacrificing support, and provide lightweight comfort.

“With adicross tour, we created a lightweight golf shoe specifically-designed to allow the foot and body to work the way it was naturally intended to move, “ said Bill Price, Vice President of adidas Golf Footwear. “With this revolutionary new shoe, a golfer can freely flex and rotate from the ground up to the shoulders, resulting in a more efficient, natural swing.”

The adicross tour, created with anatomical-inspired performance through natural motion, features a new PUREMOTIONTM construction TPU outsole for greater stability and PLUSFLEXTM technology for greater flexibility and ground contact to promote more force and power.  Seven-spike configuration with THINTECH® low-profile technology ensures optimal traction and added stability for every condition.

Combining performance with style, the upper touts stand-out design with a new iconic blucher toe, deco-stich detail and is made of premium, full-grain aniline leather complemented by a new ripstop nylon saddle to further increase flexibility. Inside, there is an ultra-light CLOUDFOAMTM sockliner that provides lasting comfort and cushioning with every step.

“The new adicross Tour has all the performance and support I need in a tour shoe plus a look that fits my style, “said Tour Staff Professional Dustin Johnson. “ The bold colors are great and I knew it was for me the moment I saw it.”

Available in four colorways beginning May 1, 2013: BLUEBERRY / RUNNING WHITE / METALLIC SILVER, RUNNING WHITE / ALUMINUM / BLACK, BLACK, RUNNING WHITE / UNIVERSITY RED, and WHEAT / RUNNING WHITE / LEATHER carrying a MSRP of $200 USD.  Two-year waterproof warranty.

Also new is the adicross tour spikeless, which utilizes the same waterproof upper as the adicross tour with a versatile, spikeless outsole. Unique to the adicross tour spikeless is the “x-shaped” performance torsion bar in the midfoot that extends into the heel for added lateral support and stability. Also, like the adicross tour, it is designed with a new anatomical last that provides enhanced volume in the forefoot for increased comfort and stability.

The adicross tour spikeless will be available in two colorways beginning June 1, 2013: TAN BROWN/RUNNING WHITE/LEATHER and RUNNING WHITE/ALUMINUM/BLACK carrying a MSRP of $150 USD.  Two-year waterproof warranty.

No. But I have been wearing Adidas Adicross spikeless shoes for a while and love them more than any golf shoe I have ever worn.
