Who To Watch:
Rickie Fowler – Don’t underestimate him. At Torrey Pines, he came back from an opening-round 77 to not only make the cut, but threaten the top five.
Bubba Watson – He had the flu, but in 22 career rounds at TPC Scottsdale, he’s broken par 20 times and has a pair of even-par 71s.
Brandt Snedeker – In 2013, 10 of his 11 rounds have been under par. He finished T-2 last week at Torrey Pines.
Phil Mickleson – The ASU grad is the hometown favorite. As of this posting, he’s leading the pack in the first round with 10 under.
